Best of 2016 (Part 2)

Its been a challenge but here is the second group of 8 photos which I have chosen as some of my best shots this year. Like many photos, some were just in the right place at the right time, some were a little lucky and some required a bit of planning to execute the desired shot. Each one though brings back great memories and I already can't wait until next April when it all starts again. Iv'e had a bit of an obsession with the Willow Emerald Damselfly this year and so a few photos of this species appear. I have the winter months to hopefully photograph a few nymphs if I go out and get some and no doubt a few unseen photos will be published. I hope you enjoy the following photos.

    The word I'd use is perfect,your White Faced Darter is exquisite.

    Marc a difficult choice for me. Either the Norfolk or White Faced flight shots do it for me. Not easy to get such detail and clarity you must be chuffed.

      Thanks Mike. A tough choice indeed. I do love the sunset shots and have a couple of these framed on the wall at home. I Norfolk and White faced Darter shots are very special. To catch an in focus WFD shot was a shot of a lifetime.
